Oracle Fusion Cloud: to create a custom page for user data entry and storage, Overview
Oracle ERP Cloud also has the capability to create custom pages which can be used to enter and store data as per business requirement. The data can be used in any of the BI reports or integrations. Using in-built Application composer tool, pages can be created and used as client’s requirement. Let’s walk through the different steps using a use case of creating a custom page to store terms and conditions for different legal entities which can later use in the PO print report. Development Steps
- Create and Enable a sandbox
- Navigate to Application Composer
- Create a new custom object
- Provide the label and Data type to be used
- Create Fields to be shown on the page
- Select field Type
- Enter Field name and select required attributes
- Create multiple fields as per requirement.
- Select field Type
- After adding all the required fields, click on pages
- Create default page
- Edit the Landing Page layout
- Select the required fields and save
- Edit the creation layout page
- Edit the details layout page
- Edit search and dialog layout page
- Create default page
- The access to the custom page can be secured by role
- Provide the label and Data type to be used
- Publish the Sandbox
- Navigate to the custom page and enter data.
